HCMC was founded in 1995 and now is a leading company in the development and
manufacture of high-performance single crystals, specializing in PMN-PT crystal
products. HCMC is a rapidly growing manufacturer of specialty PMN-PT piezoelectric
crystals in Bolingbrook, Illinois. HCMC supplies high quality piezoelectric crystal
products for acoustic transduction applications.
HCMC also manufactures synthetic fluorine mica crystals and its products such as
synthetic mica papers and synthetic mica powders by wet ground or dry ground.
Besides crystal products, HCMC supplies rare earth oxides of high purity
(99.9% ~ 99.999%) and a series of lab wares such as platinum crucibles, agate mortars
and etc. HCMC offers other services including internal sales of Hot Isostatic Presses
manufactures by America Isostatic presses, Inc. (AIP) and distribution of d33
piezoelectric coefficient meter manufactured by Institute of Acoustics Chinese Academy
of Sciences.

HCMC occupies 10,000 sq. ft. in a modern industrial complex at Bolingbrook, Illinois. HCMC
has the comprehensive crystal growth and process system. HCMC owns equipment for
crystal growth, platinum crucible manufacture (platinum refining and crucible
refurbishment), chemical batch purification, crystal orientation and machining works
(slicing, grounding, lapping, and polishing), plasma magnetron sputtering for coating
electrode and IEEE standard electrical test for quality control. HCMC is, therefore,
more comprehensively integrated than most of its competitors.
Know-How:
Besides more than 30 year extensive experiences in crystal growth, HCMC has three US
patents of PMN-PT crystal growth and application. The scientific and technical staff
at HCMC has experience in conducting government and industrial research. HCMC has six
the US government-funded research programs supported by DARPA and ONR.
